Who would be the audience for your media product?

The picture of the girl on the left is of my friend and the picture of the male on the left is something I found on google. My reader would look similar to one of these two people. Dark clothing, dark hair and into rock music. The male on the right is playing guitar. A lot of my readers would play an instrument or be interested in learning one. They could shop in town in shops such as 'rock collection.' Or they could go online as suggested in magazine's such as Kerrang, and shop on the website 'http://www.loudclothing.com/' or http://www.attitudeclothing.co.uk/.

They would listen to many genre's of rock music but especially the bands that are less mainstream and maybe undiscovered. If they were to watch television they would probably watch typical teenage programs or the music channels. Channels such as 'Kerrang' and Scuzz would be their favourites as most of the other channels are for pop music and the uk top 40 - which my reader would definately not have much of an interest in. I think that my magazine would attract this type of reader mainly because of my front cover main image and the images inside the magazine. Cover lines which talk about latest gig reviews and new bands would catch the eye of my target audience and make them want to buy the magazine to read further.
